On the 27th of May, during Arctic Game Week and Nordsken, a special concert will be arranged in Sara Kulturhus. It is the famous soprano Sabina Zweiacker who gives us an unforgettable experience during the concert Memory and Time where musical masterpieces from Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Skyrim, Final Fantasy and others are played.

Sabina has been a soloist with Scandinavia’s largest orchestras, such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and the radio symphony orchestras in the sold-out Berwald Hall.
Now she is visiting Nordsken and Skellefteå in a unique and stripped-down solo concert together with Caroline Karpinska (violin) and Gerda Holmquist (cello). Experience intimate and sensitive interpretations of beloved songs from, among others, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Skyrim and Final Fantasy and much more. She is also well known from youtube where videos of her work have been seen by millions of people.
Caroline Karpinska
During her 13 years as a freelance violinist and composer, Caroline Karpinska has played with hundreds of artists in different genres and she appears on over 50 albums. You have been able to hear her in the string quartet Vindla, together with renowned artists such as Ola Salo, Linnea Henriksson, Tingsek, Moto Boy and as musicians in several productions at Malmö Stadsteater.
Gerda Holmquist
Gerda Holmquist is a cellist with a classical background who specializes in experimental
music creation. Together with Nathan Larson (A-Camp) she runs Subchamber Ensemble and with him she has also made music for a number of films and TV series. In 2020, she released her first record in her own name, Wormwood Cello Sessions, together with Pär Davidsson.
The concert is a unique opportunity and an evening that you simply must not miss!
The concert takes place during Arctic Game Week, a week where the gaming industry and gaming enthusiasts gather in Skellefteå for industry conferences, networking and ends with the gaming festival Nordsken.
